75th anniversary of United Nations/Rotary involvement. Did you know? Rotary was instrumental in establishing the United Nations following the Second World War. From April to June 1945, delegations from 50 nations attended the United Nations Conference on international organization in San Francisco, with the task of writing a charter which was acceptable to all of them. Rotary International was one of 42 organizations asked to serve as consultants.On April 10 a live-stream event will feature notable service projects and offer “behind-the-scenes" talks with leaders from the United Nations and the Rotary world.
