Bolton Rotary supports the Escarpment Biosphere Conservancy boardwalk building activities at Simmons Nature Preserve in Caledon East. A small but mighty crew of staff and volunteers was able to install a beautiful 32' boardwalk on September 14th. This boardwalk not only gives hikers a safe and mud free passage but also protects some sensitive species in the vicinity. We will continue to phase in additional boardwalk sections in the spring.
