Swellendam ECD Centre. We have been busy finishing everything off inside, the school office is fitted and the kitchen will be completed next week. Then the furniture and equipment will arrive and be installed.
Outside we have had the water tanks delivered and these will be connected to the roof drains and mains water supply this week. All the food garden "loffels" (which are rather like large plant pots) which make up a retaining wall have been filled with a mixture of soil and compost ready for planting. This was a big job which took 8 people 2 full days. The jungle gym and swings are being installed and the irrigation system will be installed next week. Then the hedging and trees will be planted and the grass laid.
